POTTERUD

Svein Botterud

I am trying to establish relations within a family from Norway with connections to Clarke Co., Wisconsin. The surnames are Botterud (also written Potterud) and Johnson. They had farms in Curtiss. The brothers Gunder & Even Johnson (Even registered his land under the name Potterud) claimed land in 1880 and 1884. Their nephew John Botterud also settled in Curtiss later.
