Grace Rowe

Grace
(nee Mortimer) Rowe was a daughter of William and
Stella (nee Pettit) Mortimer, early
pioneers of York Township who came to Clark County from Calumet County in 1876.
As such, she was a sister to Jesse Mortimer
(Helen Lawrence/Sisson’s
father), Ray Mortimer and George
Mortimer, who are also buried in York Center
Cemetery.
She married Ernest Rowe, a son of William and
Zelina (nee Lawrence) Rowe,
