Lucy
(nee Free) Lawrence was a daughter of Richard and Hannah
Free, early settlers of
York Township. As such, she was also an older sister to Herb
Free.
Her husband was Horace H. Lawrence, the youngest son of
Horace and Edna
(nee Smithers) Lawrence, pioneers
of York Township. She was the
mother of Gilbert Lawrence
(Helen
Sisson’s first husband) and Byrl Lawrence,
both
