NHS Class of 1958 reunites 50 Year Reunion

The Neillsville High School Class of 1958 held its 50^th Class Reunion Sept. 6, (2008), at Fannie’s Supper Club near Neillsville.  There was an informal gathering Friday evening at the Neillsville Country Club and a breakfast at Doc’s Diner Sunday morning.

William Biggs was the master of Ceremonies for the evening and Kenneth Lindow conducted the Memorial Service along with Tom Overman, the Class President.  Deceased classmates were: Edgar Bertrang, Edna (Lindner) Huth, Lois (Mohr) Mendenhall, Sharon (Gall) Prock, Patricia (Ayers) Roeker, Jeannette (Boge) Sommer, Janice (Schutte) Stenulson, Marcia (Chase) Strand, Gerald Svetlik, Phillip Thompson, Nancy (Yenni) Wendt, and Shirley (Schultz) Ziegler.

Entertainment was provided by the OK Band, which consisted of Ted Ormond (a classmate) and Mike Kapfer (a former Neillsville resident).

Another reunion will be held in five years, as the class has had a reunion every five years since graduation.
