A group of “Greenies” as you know

Is found in every school you go,

But Neillsville has the best of all,

Some are short and some are tall,

Fifty are still on the roll this year

Later to lead a great career.

Alstot heads the list each day,

Ambelang studies all the way;

Arndt has had a broken leg,

Balch is better known as “Peg”.

Begley is a football player,

Belter is even getting gayer.

Bullard is Declam, is a wonder,

Chase is never known to blunder;

Clinton with her cute little curl

Is claimed by Cowle as his girl.

Ross Downer is never an “outer”,

Eberhardt is ever getting harder;

Lynn Feutz will never miss his meals

While Gallagher’s a favorite of O’Neil’s

Hall to everyone is “Mary”

Hohenstein really is not a fairy.

Huntley is in silence found

When Velda Keller is not around.
Herb. Keller soon will be an artist,

Kurth thinks Lawrence is the smartest.

Lenzkow is living for the present day,

So is bright Lenore Livesay.

To all Loberg is just “Flossie”,

Holverson isn’t exactly bossy.

“Herman Moen is a carpenter”,

Thus says Marjorie McIntyre.

Mott drives a pluggy horse; Neff claims the world is worse.

But if you like bright Pagelsdorf

Well, Nenah’o “ain’t” no dwarf.

Viva Raether never refuses a date,

Fern Richmond is always late.

Sadie Schlinsog is never mute,

Elizabeth Schoen surely is cute.

Schweinler tries the people to please

While Seif is a great big tease.

Vernon Scholtz is a a big little chap,

Ada Smith never needs a nap.

Stelter’s divinely tall and straight,

The more Vine is a middle weight.

Joe Welsh is an ancient actor,

William knows how to factor.

West lives east from High

Higgins any dance will try.

Elsie Zank is clever and bright,

Zickert has been cheated of her height.

Wetzel is a real old “vamp”, Schroeder is a football champ.

White who passes a bright remark

Loves to loiter in the Park;

These fifty make the Freshy group

A merry, laughing, classy troop.
