  Korean Tribute Stones

Celebrating Flag Day at The Highground 

Area Boy Scouts present Native American flags during The Highground?s Flag Day celebration and Korean Stone Placement Ceremony held Saturday, June 13.

Honoring Walter Foemmel 

 Dixie (l) and Olive Foemmel of New London, MN, honored Airman First Class Walter Foemmel by placing a Korean Tribute Stone during a Saturday, June 13 ceremony held at The Highground.

Pilsners place stone 

 Allen Pilsner (l) of Marshfield and Bob Pilsner of Delaware, Oh, honored Arthur Pilsner ? who served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army ? with a Korean Tribute Stone Saturday, June 13, at The Highground.  Allen Pilsner is Arthur?s father; Bob is Arthur?s brother.

 

Korean Tribute Stone for Below 

The family members of Korean War veteran Lawrence Below poses with a Korean Tribute Stone they dedicated in his honor during a Highground ceremony held Saturday June 13.  Below, who was a member of the U. S. Army, received a Purple Heart Award for his service.
