Tuesday, Oct. 6, was a rainy and windy day at The Highground, but the weather did not dampen the spirits of Abbotsford Elementary students who toured The Highground during Fifth-grade Education Days.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, The Highground and the sun welcomed 368 students from Colby, Greenwood, Loyal, Thorp, Granton, Neillsville and Merrillan.  Owen-Withee and Thorp St. Bernard students arrived at The Highground Thursday, Oct. 8.

The Clark County Area Veterans? Council welcomed students at the flagpole; Highground staff gave students an educational tour. Students then enjoyed milk and cookies provided by the council.

The Highground?s mission is healing and education; it is a place for everyone.
