Ryder, Frank

The Frank Ryder family moved to Abbotsford from Butternut in 1896. He served as village marshal, with his duties also including lighting the village kerosene street lights.

His son, Willard, worked for both the Wisconsin Central and Soo Line, as a fireman and an engineer. He was killed while on duty in 1925.

One of the daughters, Norma, was married to Walter Grambort.
