The above ad appeared in the Greenwood Gleaner, March 16, 1900.

This business was owned by "Chris/Christ" (Christian), the son of Peter and Anna E. (Backer) Brick who was 27 years old and a successful Livery Stable in Greenwood, Wisconsin in 1900.  He moved with his parents to Clark County when he was 2 years old and they settled on a farm in the town of Warner.  This area area locally referred to as "The West Side", because it was located on the West side of the Black River. He was born February 10, 1873 in the town of Meeme in Manitowoc Co. Wisconsin. 


He was married to Hazel B. Robinson October 24, 1906.


Christopher Peter Brick died in March of 1972 in Neillsville, Wisconsin and is buried there in the City Cemetery beside his wife and daughter, Vida E.
