Justman, Hilda E. (25 Sep 1892 – 26 May 1976)

Funeral services were held Friday, May 28, 1976 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity for Hilda E. Justman, age 83.

The Rev. Elton Moore officiated at the 2 p.m. services, with burial following at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. She died Wednesday, May 26 in Colby.

The former Hilda Johnson was born September 25, 1892 in the Town of Unity. She graduated from Unity High School in 1910.

She married Alfred Justman on March 29, 1911, in Colby.

The couple farmed in the Town of Unity until retiring to Unity in 1951.

She was a lifetime member and very active in the Trinity Lutheran Church, and also was a member of the LCW church group.

The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on March 29.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ansel (Myrl) Messer, Unity; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Dommer, Oshkosh.

A foster son, Charles, preceded her in death.
