Feind, Louise (11 July 1891 -14 November 1983)

(Note - Buried in Colby Memorial Cemetery)

COLBY - Mrs. Edward (Louise) Feind, 93, formerly of Colby, died Monday morning at the Wautoma Care Center in Wautoma. Services will be Thursday at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby. The Rev. David W. Maki of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Dorchester, will officiate.

The former Louise Weidenhoeft was born July 11, 1891 in Oakfield, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Augusta Milke) Weidenhoeft. She received her education in Colby schools. She was married to Edward Feind September 27, 1911 in Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. He died August 26, 1969. The couple farmed in the Colby area.

A member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, Mrs. Feind is survived by a son, Orland Feind of Marshfield; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Virginia) Theilig of Colby and Mrs. Erma Miller of Wautoma; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Franz of Seattle, Washington and Mrs. Anna Nickel of North Royalton, Ohio.

She was also predeceased by four brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
