COLBY - Elmer Voelker, 80, Route 2, Colby, died Thursday at his home.

Services will be Saturday at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby. The Rev. A. Dix will officiate, with burial in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

He was born December 25, 1902 in the Town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, to the late Mr. and Mrs. August (Annie Koeser) Voelker. He received his education in Colby Schools. He never married.

He farmed in the Fairchild and Augusta areas for a few years and then worked at the Trout Lake Country Club and Minocqua Country Club for 20 years, retiring in 1972. He then moved to Colby.

Survivors include two brothers, Roland of Colby and Marvin of Pittsville; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Norma) Flick of Colby.

He was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
