COLBY - The Colby Future Farmers of America Alumni recently re-elected Doug Newman as their president.

Others elected were Kathy Brehm, secretary; Bryce Luchterhand, vice president; Virginia Meter, treasurer; Earl Boss, county director, and Larry Meyer, director.

Gary Beastrom, state FFA Alumni president, discussed the present activities of the state organization. Knute Wallin, Greenwood, provided entertainment.

It was announced that Newman has been elected to represent the local FFA alumni district on the FFA Council.

John Jones, Colby FFA adviser, and the FFA members prepared and served the meal. A Christmas party will be planned for December.
