Colby Kids

Several awards were presented at the recent achievement banquet of the Colby Clovers 4-H Club.

Seals went to Lynnette Birkett, knitting and dress revue; Chris Boris, horse and Pony, food preservation, wildflowers, goats and demonstrations; Kris Calley, dairy; Eliza Luchterhand and Tonya Mullins, both for clothing; Matthew McNeely, art, and Joel Mullins, woodworking.

Certificates went to Chris Anderson, woodworking; Chris Bores, Woodworking, wildflowers, gardening, clothing and forestry; Kris Calley, dress revue; Lori Geisking, dairy; Eliza Luchterhand, photography; Darla McNeely, dairy; Lea Strack, woodworking, food preservation, wildflowers and gardening; Robert Strack, woodworking, veterinary science, and Jeff Walter, poultry.

One-year membership pins went to Matthew McNeely, Joel Mullins and Jeff Walters. Elaine Westrich received a five-year pin for being clothing leader.

Recent club activities included a Halloween party and cleaning the Colby Town Hall.
