Klinke, Margaret A. (16 April 1983)

Margaret A. Klinke and Craig J. Smith were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, April 16, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Michael Mertens officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Al Klinke, Rt. 2 Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Smith, Port Washington.

Laurie Larson offered special music for the church service.

Sandy Herrick, the bride’s sister of Willard, was matron of honor. She was joined by Kathy Keckler, the bride’s sister of Kenosha, Sue Kaltinger, a friend from Eau Claire, and Sharon Speich, a friend from Greenwood.

Daniel Fox, a friend from Milwaukee, was the best man. He was joined by Brian and Pat Smith, the groom’s brothers of Port Washington, and Greg Herrick, a friend from Willard. Ushering were Ron Klinke, the bride’s brother of Greenwood, and Tracy Thom, a friend from Port Washington.

The bride wore her mother’s wedding gown and carried a bouquet of red roses, ferns and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore rose-colored chiffon gowns and each carried one white and one pink rose adorned by baby’s breath. The groom and his attendants were attired in navy tuxedos.

A dance was held later that evening at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The couple will make their home in Port Washington. He owns a charter fishing business in that community.
