Services will be held today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, for Mary E. Schaffer, age 90.

The Rev. Francis Rushman will officiate at the 11 a.m. rites, with burial following at the church cemetery. Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, is in charge of arrangements.

The former Mary Kamper was born November 23, 1885 in Swey, Iowa.

She married Nick Schaffer at Hilbert. He died in 1968.

Mrs. Schaffer was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers and Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by two sons, Rueben, Duluth, and Lester, Colby; six grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lily Miller, Rice Lake.
