As in past years, Colby High School again came of at the top of the FBLA regional contest in Eau Claire Saturday. Members will have an exhibit on display in the business rooms during the week.

The conference offered members an opportunity to compete with students from nearly 35 other schools in business related contests such as job interviews, parliamentary procedures, public and extemporaneous speaking, office procedures, basic business, economics, typewriting, accounting, stenography, business communications, poster making and exhibits.

Those receiving recognition from Colby were: Mr. FBLA - Jim Clifford, first; Clerk Typist II - Kerry Firnstahl, Second; Business Communications - Mary Clifford, Third; Stenographer II - Linda Seidel, third.; Parliamentary Procedure - Penny Ruppert, Debbie Rashka, Kim Wussow, Cindy Heeg and Diane Haas, third; Accounting I - Tim Meyer, fourth; Extemporaneous Speaking - Rick Waldhart, fourth; FBLA creed - Barb Jicinsky, fourth; Business law, Kathy Heindl, fifth; Poster Event - Judy Jicinsky, fifth.
