Witt, Sandra Kay (2 October 1982)

Sandra Kay Witt and Richard Anthony Schecklman were united in marriage on October 2 during 7:00 p.m. candlelight services at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley. The Rev. Eric Ackerman officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Witt of Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Schecklman, Rt. 4 Neillsville.

Mrs. Ronald Gerl, a sister of the bride from Stanley, was matron of honor. Joining her were Bonnie Dietsche, a sister of the groom from Spencer, and Roxanne Strike, a friend from Westfield. Heather Witt, a niece of the bride from Stanley, was flower girl.

Tim Schecklman, the groom’s brother of Loyal, was bestman. He was joined by the Rev. Ronald Gerl, the bride’s brother-in-law of Stanley, and mark McIlvoy, a friend from Westfield. Kristopher Gerl, a nephew of the bride from Stanley, was ring bearer of the bride from Stanley, was ring bearer. Ushering were Larry Witt of Chippewa Falls and Les Warzynski of Coloma.

Following the service, a reception and dance was held at the Boyd American Legion Hall.

The new Mrs. Schecklman is a 1978 graduate of Stanley-Boyd High School and is employed as a telephone operator for Figi’s of Marshfield. Her husband, a 1973 graduate of Loyal High School, is employed by Central State Supply of Marshfield. The couple will make their home in Marshfield.
