Boushon, Cheryl Emily (16 October 1982)

Cheryl Emily Boushon and Steven Francis Langreck were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, October 16, by the Rev. Frank Hinebaugh in services held at the Chili United Methodist Church. Parents of the couple are Donald and Valeria Boushon of Chili and Francis and Bonnie Langreck, Granton.

Mark Lavey and Mike Best offered special music for the service.

Serving as the maid of honor was Kris Boushon, a sister of the bride from Chili. Joining her were Carol Kloos, a friend from Stratford; Lori Boushon, a sister of the bride from Chili; and Bev Langreck, a sister of the groom from Granton.

Mark Tysver, a friend from Chili, was bestman. He was joined by Gary Boushon, the bride’s brother of Chili; Jerry Friedemann, a friend from Chili; and Jim VandeBerg, a friend from Neillsville. Ushering were Philip Folyer, a cousin of the bride from Granton; and Ron Langreck, the groom’s brother of Chili. Serving as ring bearer and flower girl were Billy Genteman, the groom’s cousin of Waukesha; and Shannon Boushon, the bride’s cousin of Marshfield.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Granton Sportsmen’s Club.

The bride chose a sheer organza own featuring re-embroidered Chantilly lace, seed pearl trim, crystal pleating, Queen Anne neckline, bishop sleeves and a ruffle-flounced hemline that swept to a multi-ruffled cathedral-length train. Her fingertip-length veil was of illusion lace and fell from a re-embroidered lace and pearl-trimmed Juliet-style cap. She carried a bouquet of burgundy, pink and white roses, greens and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore organza gowns in burgundy colors and featuring ruffled necklines and flounced hemlines that swept up to the waist in an apron effect. They carried bouquets of white roses, burgundy lilies, pink delphiniums, greens and baby’s breath. The groom and his attendants were attired in solver Ashley-style tuxedos. The flower girl carried a basket of flowers similar to those carried by the bridesmaids.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Langreck will make their home in Granton. She is a 1982 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He is a 1976 graduate of Granton High School, and he is employed by the Neillsville-Granton Farmers Union Cooperative.
