Bayuk, Betty Lou (16 October 1982)

The Rev. James Lesczynski officiated at the Saturday early afternoon, October 16, wedding at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard for Betty Lou Bayuk and Randall Michael Thermos. Father of the bride is William Bayuk of Willard while the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thermos of Bensenville, Illinois.

Margaret Gosar, Jeff Hansted and Teresa Jolivette offered special music for the service.

Nina Lube, a sister of the bride from Minneapolis, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carol Steiger, the bride’s sister of Willard; Mery Stewart, the bride’s sister of Junction City; Rosy Bayuk, a cousin of the bride from La Crosse; Jeanie Verschay, a friend from Madison; and Pam Suda, a friend from Marshfield. Megan Steiger, the bride’s niece, Willard, was flowergirl.

Serving as bestman was Gary Jansen, a friend from Bensenville, Illinois. He was joined by friend Kim Dergance, Hillside, Illinois; Bonny Thermos, the groom’s brother of Bensenville; Steve Bayuk, the bride’s brother of Willard; Keith Remus, a friend from Bensenville; and Jeff Carlevato, a friend from Wheaton, Illinois. Ushering were Paul Bayuk, the bride’s brother of Willard; and Jim Kapolas, a cousin of the groom from Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

The bride chose a remake of her mother’s wedding gown of satin with a lace cover; she carried a bouquet of wine-colored and pink roses and cream-colored mums. Her attendants carried rose and fern arm bouquets. The groom was attired in a charcoal gray tuxedo.

A dinner at the parish center followed the nuptials and this was followed by a dance at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Thermos will make their home in Addison, Illinois. She is employed at JoAnn Fabrics in Addison. He is presently attending Control Data Institute and is employed part-time with Liqui-Flo of Bensenville.
