The Carlyon Pharmacy was sold December 1, 1976 to Abby Pharmacy, Inc. and is now
known as the Colby Pharmacy.
The pharmacy will have a complete prescription inventory and several other
departments will be added or expanded. Some remodeling of the front of the
building is planned.
Colby Pharmacy is presently managed by Mark E. Gilberts, a native of Madison He
is a 1975 graduate of the UW, Madison in Pharmacy. He is unmarried and resides
in Colby. Gilberts said the store hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. n weekdays, and
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
