Larson, Linnae Kathy (18 September 1982)

Rev. Alwyn York of the Greenwood United Church of Christ officiated at the Saturday late afternoon, September 18, wedding of Linnae Kathy Larson and Alan James Brux. Parents of the couple are Jerome Larson and Leanne Larson, both of Rt. 2, Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux, Rt. 3 Greenwood.

Lori Maciosek, the bride’s sister of Greenwood, was matron of honor. Lacey Maciosek, the bride’s niece, was flower girl. Mark Brux, brother of the groom from Texas, was best man.

Rita Stewart of Greenwood provided the special music for the service.

The bride chose a floor-length, chiffon-over-taffeta gown with lace trim, long train and chapel length veil; she carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies-of-the-valley and small pink flowers. Her attendant wore a dress in cranberry with crepe-backed satin and lace cape and carried a bouquet of wine-colored tiger lilies, small pink flowers and baby’s breath. The flower girl wore a lace-trimmed, crepe-backed pink dress. The groom and the bestman wore gray formal attire.

Following the service, a reception was held at the Greenwood Knights of Columbus hall. (A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents.)

The couple will make their home in Onalaska. The new Mrs. Brux is a graduate of Greenwood High School. Her husband is a graduate of the same school and is employed by Ridgeview in Onalaska.
