Huth, Debbie (25 September 1982)

Debbie Huth and Darrell Struensee were united in marriage by the Rev. Paul Forde in ceremonies conducted at Calvary Lutheran Church in Neillsville on Saturday, September 25. Parents of the bride are Frank and Marlene Cina, Rt. 1 Neillsville, and the late Robert Oestreich. The groom’s parents are Joseph and Evelyn Struensee, Rt. 1 Neillsville.

Marty Oestreich, brother of Evansville, Wyoming, escorted the bride down the aisle. Special music was offered at the service by Tim Voi8gt of Neillsville and Rita Stewart of Greenwood.

Serving as matron of honor was Marilyn Lindquist, a friend of the bride from Warroad, Minnesota. She was joined by Sandy Oestreich, the bride’s sister of Casper, Wyoming. Flower girl was Jamie Huth, the bride’s daughter.

Don Erickson was best man. He was joined by Arlan Hinkelmann, a friend; while Jeremy Erickson was ringbearer. Ushering were friends Tom Clemens and Terry Zschernitz. All are from Neillsville.

The bride chose an ivory tricot knit gown with lace bodice, V-back and stand-up collar. She carried a silk bouquet in the colonial style of ivory and wine roses and baby’s breath; she also wore a wreath of wine roses in her hair. Her attendants wore light blue gowns with ivory lace bodices, carried silk colonial bouquets of blue roses, ivory flowers and baby’s breath and wore blue rosebuds in their hair. The broom wore a Cheyenne-style, silver-gray tuxedo; his attendants were attired in similar tuxedos but in dark brown. The flowergirl wore an ivory dress with cap sleeves and carried a bouquet similar to the brides; the ringbearer was attired in a tuxedo similar to the groom’s.

A reception following the nuptials was held at the Wildcat Inn with a dance following at the Neillsville American Legion Hall. The couple announced wedding trip plans to Wyoming and Montana.

The wedding cake was prepared by the groom’s sister-in-law, Erdine Struensee, while the wedding party flowers were arranged and created by Joan Counsell and Laura Chubb. Prenuptial events included a surprise shower hosted by friends and neighbors of the couple.

The bride is employed by Gaier Construction of Neillsville. The groom is with Egle Tire and Service of Neillsville, Medford and Abbotsford. The new Mr. and Mrs. Struensee will make their home at rural Granton.
