Hasz, Vicki Ann (21 August 1982)

Rural Granton will be the new home for Mr. and Mrs. Mark Anding, who were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, August 21, by the Kevin Wenker in Zion Lutheran Church services in Granton.

The bride, Vickie Ann Hasz, is the daughter of Otto and Arlene Hasz, Rt. 1, Granton. The groom, Mark Duane Anding, is the son of Duane and Pat Anding, Rt. 1 Granton.

Special music for the service was provided by Carolyn Helm and Mark Lavey.

Roxanne Zwicke, the bride’s niece of Marshfield, served as maid of honor. She was joined by Beth Ludovic, the groom’s sister of Neillsville, and Linda Doud, a friend of the bride from Neillsville.

Bob Sydow, a friend from Marshfield, was the best man. He was joined by LeRoy Ludovic, the groom’s brother-in-law of Neillsville, and Brian Zwicke, the bride’s nephew of Marshfield. Ushering were James Hasz, the bride’s brother, and Roger Hasz, the bride’s cousin; both are from Granton.

The bride chose a sheer, organza gown trimmed with silk Venetian and Chantilly lace and featured a Queen Anne’s neckline, bishop sleeves and ruffle-flounced hemline that swept to a chapel-length train. She wore a matching lace-covered derby hat with attached fingertip-length veil. She carried a cascade of 18 roses and white starburst pompoms with baby’s breath. Her attendants wore spaghetti-strapped gowns with sunburst pleated skirts and sheer capes of sea spray tinesta knit. They carried colonial-style bouquets of sea foam carnations and white daisies. The groom and his attendants wore silver-gray, western-styled tuxedos.

A dinner was served in the church basement immediately following the wedding service. A dance was held later at Fannie’s Supper Club, Neillsville.

Prenuptial events included a shower hosted by Donna Zwicke, Lois Hasz, Gail Hasz, Leah Wegner and Beth Ludovic and another shower hosted by Gayle Schermitzler.

The couple announced that they would be taking a wedding trip in November. The new Mrs. Anding holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in home economics from UW-Stout and is employed as a teacher for the Neillsville Public Schools. Her husband is a 1969 graduate of Granton High School and is employed by Weyerhaeuser in Marshfield.
