Hainzlsperger, Mr./Mrs. John (60th – Oct 1976)

Mr. and Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, Colby, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday evening with a mass held in their honor, and an open house at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby.

The couple was married October 10, 1916 in Milwaukee at St. Boniface Catholic Church by Father H. J. Stempee. Attendants were Harry Noll and Hildegarde Schulteis.

The couple has eight living children, Joe, Colby, Ray and Ervin, both of Unity, LeRoy, Stevens Point; four daughters, Mrs. George (Florence) Schneider, Colby, Mrs. Carl (Eleanor) Seidel and Mrs. Delbert (Virginia) Morrow, both of Marshfield, and Mrs. Delmar (Viola) Kleinschmidt, Loyal; 38 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Two sons, John and Harold, are deceased.

They have lived in the Colby area most of their married life, on a farm. They retired five years ago, moving to their present home in Colby.
