Rajewski, Peter W. (20 Jan 1894 – 27 Sep 1976)

Funeral services were held Thursday for Peter W. Rajewski, age 82, of Wisconsin Rapids, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial followed in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Rajewski died Monday, September 29, 1976 at the Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids.

He was born in Chicago on January 20, 1894.

Before retiring in 1963, Mr. Rajewski was employed by the Chicago Board of Health as a grade A milk inspector for Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana.

He and his wife, the former Violet H. Reynolds, moved from Wausau to Wisconsin Rapids and lived there since 1965.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1558 and an honorary member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Arthur, Chicago; a brother Max, Juniper, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Ann McVicker, Mount Prospect, Illinois and Mrs. Frances Hartmann, Chicago; two grandsons and a great-grandson.
