Thieme, Arlene (29 May 1938 – 7 January 2023)

Arlene Thieme, age 84, of Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Vita Care in Stratford.

She was born on May 29, 1938, in the Town of Grant, Clark County, WI, to the late Alfred and Esther (Schuelke) Ebert.

Arlene had worked as a crossing guard in Marshfield and Wausau before retirement.

She is survived by five sons, Gary, Robert, Ronnie, Brad and David; daughter, Sheryl; sister, Carol Henrichs; brother, Duane Ebert; 19 grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Alvin Thieme.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy. in Marshfield), with Pastor Chris Schwanz officiating. Burial will take place in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of service.
