Tonnie R. Miller and Larry W. Schmidt, both of Colby, were among the 380 candidates to receive degrees at the annual mid-year commencement ceremonies Saturday, December 20, 1975 at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. The 3 p.m. program was held in Mitchell Hall on the university campus.

A total of 327 undergraduate and 53 graduate degrees were conferred by Chancellor Kenneth E. Lindner. Sixty-five were honored in the college of education, 128 in the school of health, physical education and recreation. 102 in the college of arts, letters and science, 7 in the school of health and human services, and 25 in the school of business.

A reception for graduates and their guests was held in Valhalla, Cartwright center following the commencement exercises.
