Lottie Ann Stokosa was born on June 30, 1966, in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Eugene and Lillie (Reed) Stokosa. In 1971, her family moved to Thorp, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Thorp High School in 1984. After graduation, Lottie lived in Greenwood for 16 years where she was very active in organizing and volunteering at many community events including St. Mary's Catholic Church. Lottie was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader for over 30 years. She lived in California for a short time before returning to Wisconsin where she worked as a bartender and cook at various employers and cities throughout the years.

She had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, and being outdoors. Her main passion was people, especially children.
