Kelley, William G. “Bill” (26 January 1936 – 15 December 2022) With Flag

William G. Kelley (Bill) passed away Dec. 15, 2022.

He was born Jan. 26, 1936, to John A. and Anita M. (Riedel) Kelley. He grew up on the family farm and attended a one-room school, Oriole Hill. After graduating from Neillsville High School in 1954, he went on to receive his bachelor of science degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he graduated in 1959.

Bill served with the National Guard and was called to active duty in 1961 at Fort Lewis, WA. He was honorably discharged after six months of service. He worked in sales for most of his life and worked in the entertainment business in his younger years. He was a substitute teacher before retiring.

Bill is survived by his brother, John (Nancy) Kelley; niece Jean Kelley (Dan Pataska); nephews Tim Kelley, (Cathy Fleming), David (Sue) Cole, Scott (Sue) Cole and Pat Cole; and his cat, “Miss Kitty”.

He was preceded in death by sisters Ann Kelley and Colleen Cole and nephew John Kelley.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.
