Word was received here of the death of Christ Hanson, 87, Eden Valley, Minnesota. Mr. Hanson was born and raised in the Curtiss area, having lived in the Town of Hoard before going to Minnesota, where he farmed.

Those attending the funeral from this area were a niece, Mrs. Howard Grandy, Medford, and nephew, Clarence Johnson, Spencer. Another nephew, Harris Johnson, rural Curtiss, was unable to attend.

Mr. Hanson was preceded in death by his wife and several sisters.
