Rostamo, Larry S. (24 October 1939 – 24 December 2022) With Flag

Larry S. Rostamo, age 83, of Withee, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Aspirus Medford Hospital.

Larry was born on October 24, 1939, the son of Conrad and Edna (Running) Rostamo in Menomonie. He attended Boyceville High School and enlisted in the U. S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1960. Larry worked heavy construction for many years and also was a dairy farmer.

On January 19, 1974, Larry was united in marriage to Kathleen Larson in South Dakota. He loved horses and life on the farm. Larry will be remembered as a generous and faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen; four children: Shelly (Jerry) Creaser of Menomonie, Sherie (Mark) Lehr of New Market, MN, Shawn (Todd) Tshumper of Menomonie and Michael Rostamo (Ann Marie Meints) of Plymouth, MN; 10 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley Rostamo of Knapp; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne.

A Celebration of Life to follow in the spring. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.
