A family birthday party for Herman Baumer’s 81st year, and the birthday of his two sister-in-law, Sophie Dessl, 82, and Anna Stoiber, who will be 80 on Friday, was held at the Colonial House of Colby on Monday afternoon. The party was given by Baumer’s daughter, Mrs. Norman Danen, Dorchester, and featured a birthday cake depicting a water scene, which included a fishing boat. Fishing was a former hobby of Baumer. All of the Danen children were present for their grandfather’s party.
