Saturday. June 21, 1975, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wolk, Colby, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with an open house and a reception at the Colby City Hall. A 5 p.m. dinner was served at the First United Church of Christ dining hall.

They were married June 20, 1925 at St. John’s Evangelical Church in Colby.

Mr. and Mrs. Wolk farmed in the Town of Hull until moving to Colby in November 1950.

They have two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Beyerl and Mrs. Emery Rahm, and 10 grandchildren.

Friends and relatives attended the celebration from Washington, Arizona, Laona, Merrill, Wausau, Sheboygan, New Holstein, Reedsville, Cleveland, Kiel, Spencer and Loyal.
