Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford was the scene of the wedding of Sharon Kay Kramer, Unity, to Thomas G. Baker, Dorchester, on Saturday, May 3, 1975 at 2 p.m.. The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated.

The couple are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kramer, 317 North Third Street, Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Baker of Dorchester.

Escorted down the aisle on the arm of her father, the bride was attired in a chapel gown of silk organza with chapel length trin. The bodice and A-line skirt were edged with lace, and a Juliet headpiece secured her fingertip veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white pom poms.

Sand Poehnelt, Spencer, was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Shery Baker, Dorchester and Cindy Hesgard of Spencer.

They were attired in pale pink gowns featuring hooded capes. Each carried a sing long stemmed rose.

Assisting the bridegroom as best man was Mike Jackel, Curtiss, and Terry Taker, Dorchester, brother of the bridegroom, and Mike Poehnelt, Dorchester, were the groomsmen. Performing the ushering duties were Tim Baker, brother of the bridegroom, and Dale Peiper.

Following the wedding a reception, dinner and dance were held at Memorial Hall at Dorchester.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of Abbotsford High School and is employed at the Colonial House of Colby. Her husband, a 1973 graduate of Colby High School, is employed at Baker’s Garage, Dorchester.

The couple is making their home at Village Acres in Unity.
