Scherr, Angeline M. (18 May 1931 – 30 November 2022)

Angeline M. Scherr, 91, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

Angeline was born on May 18, 1931, in Colby to John and Margaret (Skarvan) Kubs and attended St. Mary’s Parochial School in Colby. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Scherr on January 14, 1961, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, and they were married for 57 years. Bob died on June 29, 2018.

Angie had been employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Marshfield for 52 years. She and Bob bartended on weekends at Popeyes Pub in Marshfield. They enjoyed numerous bus trips and trips to Las Vegas.

She is survived by her son Michael (Jody) Scherr of Auburndale, two grandsons and a great grandson, grandson Joseph (Becky) Scherr and their son, Wyatt Robert Scherr; and grandson Zachary Scherr.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and siblings, Thomas, Sylvester, Wenzel, Elroy and Helen Kubs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Rev. Daniel Thelen will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Three Oaks Health Services for the excellent care that Angie received.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be designated at a later date.
