Seelow, Ardes Evelyn (13 April 1934 – 21 November 2022)

Ardes E. Seelow, 88, of Neillsville, died on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen.

Ardes Evelyn DeMert was born on April 13, 1934, in York Township, Clark County, the daughter of Walter and Eva (Hansen) DeMert. She attended St. John's Lutheran School and Neillsville High School. On Nov. 10, 1951, Ardes was united in marriage to Frederick Seelow at St. John's Lutheran Church. She worked many years for Nelson Industries retiring in 1995. Ardes enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Seelow of Verona, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Fritz, sons, Tom and Frederick Jr. and brother, Darwin DeMert preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be in North Pine Valley Cemetery at a later date.
