Members of Colby High School vocal department participated in the state music festival at Eau Claire on Saturday, May 3, 1975, and won first and second place ratings.

Kim Schmidt and Linda Schultz, soprano solos, received first place ratings.

The students who received second place ratings were Len Nowicki, tenor solo, Steve Weber, baritone solo, Kim Schmidt and Len Nowicki, duet.

Also receiving second place ratings was the triple trio consisted of Geri Becher, Marie Frane, Penny Hinke, Donna Kilty, Paula Kops, Connie Ludwig, Debbie Albrecht, Melanie Ricard and Kim Schmidt.

Also participating were Linda Schultz and Steve Weber, duet, and Donna Kilty, alto solo.
