Young, Jacob A. (13 Aug 1884 – 21 Apr 1975)

Jacob A. Young, 90, Colby, died on Monday evening, April 21, 1975 at the Colonial Nursing home in Colby.

Services will be held for Mr. Young on Thursday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ, with Rev. Kenneth Dix officiating. He will be buried in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lulloff Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Born on August 13, 1884 in the Town of Hull, Marathon County, Mr. Young received his education in local schools. He married the former Bessie Thygeson on February 28, 1912. He farmed in the Town of Hull until his retirement and lived in the City of Colby for the last 20 years.

Mr. Young is preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
