NHS Classes of 1927 and 1928 (Reunions - 1982)

The classes of 1927 and 1928 of Neillsville High School held a reunion June 19 at the Arbutus Spider room in downtown Neillsville. Sixty-two persons gathered for the Cocktail hour with dinner served at 7:00 p.m.

Everett Skroch acted as master of ceremonies, with Esther Braatz Silbernagel giving the invocation. A moment of silence was observed in memory of deceased class members. Letters were read from several classmates and from teachers Clarence Imislund and Chalmer Davee, M.D., who were unable to attend.

Awards were presented to Edna Gluck Hem, first reservation; and to Ardell Cooper, Hulda Swanson Simonson, Harold Slagle and Lula Schultz Lund, longest distance traveled to attend. Drawings went to Ardell Cooper, Edna Hemp, Isabelle Pietenpol, Hulda Simonson, Bertha Dallman and Lela Raine.

One teacher, Mrs. Harry (Sadie Cold) Hauge, along with her husband, of Mosinee, attended.
