The State Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations said the center will be open from 8 am. To 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Clark County Courthouse.

In charge of the office will be Mrs. JoAnn Hoffman of Greenwood, a manpower specialist with the Job Service. She will be assisted by Mrs. Connie Ennis of Neillsville, a clerk.

The office will take job orders from employers and make job placements, among other services. Beginning January 27, 1975 the office will begin taking unemployment compensation claims each day. At present, a claims taker visits the county on Wednesdays only. Resident otherwise must go to the District Job Service office in Marshfield on other days.

Funds to pay for the two staff positions are coming from the county’s initial allocation of federal funds under the National Comprehensive Employment and Training Act.
