Granton-FFA Conference (Scholarships - 1982)

Two students from the Granton FFA were selected as outstanding FFA members in the state and given full scholarships to attend a FFA leadership conference in Washington D.C. They are Jay Parker and Cheryl Garbisch, both 1982 graduates at Granton.

Jay received his scholarship from the FFA which was donated by the Farm Credit Bank of St. Paul. Cheryl received her scholarship from the National FFA Alumni Association.

Both are active members in the FFA and excel in leadership and public speaking at the National FFA Convention and meetings throughout the state. Their advisor is Francis Steiner, vocational agriculture instructor at Granton.
