Greenwood Schools Honor Those Leaving (1982)

The faculty and personnel of the Greenwood Community School District had a recent dinner to honor a number of people who will be leaving the system.

Anita Abel, who has been the head cook for 22 years, is retiring, Frank Lamovec is also retiring as bus driver after more than 25 years.

Others who will not be returning include Val Krainz, who has been a custodian; Luann Okel Adams, who has been on the faculty for the past four years and will be moving to Prairie Farm; Reginald Gobin, who has been on the faculty for the past ten years and who will be principal at the Granton High School; Peggy Van De Loo, early childhood instructor, who is going to Milwaukee.

Bob Mosely, who did not seek re-election on the board of education after three terms, was also recognized.
