A surprise wedding shower was given in honor of Gloria Luther and Wally Nixdorf on November 16, 1974 at the Jerry Gebert home, Dorchester. Hostesses were Betty Gebert and Linda Wulk.

Those present were Ron Schiferl, Mr. and Mrs. Al Zirngibl, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Grondine, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fahrenbach, Mr. and Mrs. Mrk Schmitt, Miss Linette Schmitt, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Ogurek, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lueth, Bill Schultz, Paul Writz, Miss Cindy Rueden, Mrs. JoAnn Sann, Jerry Geber and Jim Wulk. Games were played and lunch and refreshments were served.

The couple will be married November 30, 1974.
