Mrs. Sandra (Blasel) Light, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Blasel, Dorchester, and John Polzin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Polzin, Abbotsford, were united in marriage Tuesday, November 12, 1974 with a candlelight ceremony at the home of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Blasel. The Reverend Roland Golz of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Dorchester officiated.

Maid of honor was Elaine Blasel and best man was David Polzin. Other attendants were Bunny Polzin and Gary Blasel.

The bride was attired in a light blue A-line style street length dress. The maid of honor and other attendant wore pink street length dresses.

The bride’s flowers consisted of red roses, pink carnations and pom poms. The attendants carried a long stem pink rose. The boys had boutonnieres of red rose and pink carnation. Guests were the bride’s children, Anna and Johnny, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Polzin and Mrs. Melvin Blasel.

After a wedding trip to Milwaukee they will be at home at Dorchester. On Thanksgiving Day John will returned to the Naval Training Center at San Diego.
