Grap, Kerri Kam (17 April 1982)

The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated at the Saturday mid-afternoon, April 17, wedding of Kerri Kam Grap and David Alan Lindgren at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Jr., Rt. 3 Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lindgren, Rt. 2 Loyal.

Mrs. Gary Ruzic and Mrs. Daniel Schwark offered vocal music for the service, accompanied by Paul Tess.

Serving as maid of honor was Sue Schultz of Neillsville. She was joined by Sherri Donahue, a sister of the bride from Neillsville; Terri Lewandowski, another sister of the bride from Oneida; and Mary Lindgren, the groom’s sister of Loyal.

Best man was Luke McNeely, a friend of the groom from Loyal. He was joined by Pat Lindgren, the groom’s brother of Loyal; Bernie Wilke, a friend from Loyal; and Perry Grap, the bride’s brother of Neillsville. Ushering were John Donahue and Steve Lewandowski, the bride’s brothers-in-law.

The bride chose a floor-length gown of lace over taffeta with a princess collar and Bishop sleeves both closed with pearl buttons trimmed with a full shoulder ruffle and skirt bottom ruffle. A net, lace-trimmed, chapel length train was draped from the waistline. Her lace-trimmed veil cascaded from a Juliet-style cap. She carried a bouquet in a double heart style featuring white macrame, red and white roses, baby’s breath and white streamers.

Her attendants wore baby blue floor-length organza gowns styled with a net ruffled neckline, full-length pleats and ribbon waistline. Each wore a blue rose in their hair and carried white macrame hearts with sprays of blue roses, baby’s breath and blue streamers tipped with blue rose buds.

Following the wedding service, a reception was held at the Silver Dome. The couple announced plans for a southern wedding trip.

The new Mrs. Lindgren is a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed by her father. Her husband is a 1981 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed by Schlinsog Dairy of Loyal. The couple will make their home at Rt. 3 Neillsville.
