Jacques, Donald (1930? – 19 Jul 2022)


Born to Eternal Life on July 19, 2022, at the age of 92, lovingly survived by his wife Elaine (Nee Davis) of 58 years, Beloved father of Christopher Jacques, Mike (Carol) Jacques, and Lisa (Steve) Bunzel. Proud grandpa of Kyle, Justin, Derek, Elizabeth, Luke and Noah, cherished great grandpa Raynnie, dear brother of Tom I (Barb) Jacques and Alva Retta Trahan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many | friends. Don is preceded in death by his parents Agnes and Arthur Jacques and by his siblings Janice and Duane.


Don was born in Port Washington, WI, and was raised in Thorp, WI. He graduated from Thorp High School in 1948. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He later graduated from Marquette University in 1959 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. On October 12, 1963 he married Elaine, the love of his life. He was gainfully employed at A. C. Delco, Astronautics and retired from Kearney and Trecker. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, tennis and spending time with his family. Don loved to make people laugh and tell jokes. He will be loved, remembered and missed.


Visitation will take place at St. Alphonsus Church (6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale, WI) on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 9-10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. .
