Rohland, Dennis F. (6 October 1940 - 12 October 2022)

Dennis F. Rohland, age 82, of Withee, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen.

Dennis was born on October 6, 1940, the son of Fred and Margaret (Konieczny) Rohland in Withee. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1960. He farmed with his Dad in the Town of Hixon, retiring and moving to a house in Withee in 1994. His lawn was devoted with many interesting lawn ornaments. He enjoyed collecting model cars, tractors, and farm equipment as well as pedal tractors. He was very creative and loved to draw and paint and created projects using cardboard boxes, rocks, and wood.

Dennis is survived by two sisters: Marcia Krueger of Portland, OR and Barbara (James Rohrer) Rohland of Fort Atkinson; one niece and three nephews: Carol Krueger of Portland, OR., David (Jenny) Krueger of Portland, OR., Paul Dwyer of Sun Prairie and Michael (Laura) Dwyer of Madison; one great-nephew and two great-nieces, many cousins, and special neighbors, Dave Fleming and Louella Bonk. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lois Rohland and Lorie Dwyer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. Rev. Donald Bruce will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.
