U.S. Air Force Second Lieutenants Wayne H. Sterzinger, son of Mrs. Corsina Sterzinger, RR 1, Colby, has been certified as a deputy missile combat crew commander at Grand Forks, AFB, North Dakota.

Lieutenant Sterzinger, a missile launch officer with one year service, was recommended for upgrading by his wing commander after meeting all training and evaluation requirements.

The lieutenant, a 1969 graduate of Colby High School, received his B.A. degree in Physical Education last years from the University of Wisconsin at Superior, and was commissioned there through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp program.

His wife, Nancy, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goeltz, RR 1, Colby.
