Herrera, Claudia Figueroa (15 June 1989 – 24 August 2022)

Claudia A. Figueroa Herrera, age 33, of Owen, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

Claudia was born on June 15, 1989, the daughter of Martha Herrera and Leobardo Gonzalez in Sombrerete Zacatecas, Mexico. She last attended Thorp High School. Claudia was loving and caring, loved to play, run and dance. She also liked to listen to music. Claudia filled our hearts with laughter and smiles.

Claudia is survived by her mother, Martha Herrera; her father, Leobardo Gonzalez; two sisters: Deisy K. (Michael Rivera) Gonzalez of Owen and Martha L. Gonzalez of Eau Claire and a brother, Angel L. Gonzalez of Owen; her nephew, Sebastian Rivera Gonzalez; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father Timothy Oudenhoven will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Live stream will be available for those unable to attend on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website.
